Been looking forward to see this Swedish power metal band from Falun for quite some time now. Sabaton, a band that was formed in 1999, write their songs mainly inspired by historical wars. The name of the band has also a connection to military armour. The lead singer Joakim Brodén has been a member of the band from the beginning. The same with the bass player Pär Sundström. Always great to be back! We returned again this year with our friends and as usual it is still a very pleasant experience although the two recent years, the number of visitors has increased and sometimes its actually difficult to move around. We really hope that SRF will not increase even more visitors. That could be a reason not to go in future. This years headline band was Kiss, Def Leppard, Richie Blackmore´s Rainbow and ZZ Top. Tonight´s show at Debaser Strand in Stockholm with the main act Monster Truck was a blast! This was their last show of a six week tour. Berns was opened in August 1863 and quickly gained a central role in Swedish entertainment. Here the people of Stockholm went to see variety theatre. The festivals Festival is now happening this summer! If you only can go to one festival, this is the one. It's a three-day event in August 16-18 August 2019. This is not the original site where Woodstock took place, Bethel NY but in Watkins Glen NY. Michael Lang, the organizer back then and now, confirmed that it will be some of the legacy bands from the original festival. It is always special to see music live and tonight was no exception… Get this great feeling when thinking of how it could have been and have felt at the Woodstock festival back in 1969. It is a unique feeling when thinking of that and Greta Van Fleet by appearance and their music takes you back in time and gives you that magic moment. An enlightening evening with Jeff and his Electric Light Orchestra in Stockholm.  ELO´s first time visiting since 1982 and a sold out Ericsson Globe Arena. Actually quite a good concert venue and if you didn’t now, The Globe, was for quite some years the worlds largest spheric building. Jeff Lynne is obviously one of the worlds most successful musician and music producer and was the co-founder of ELO in 1970. He was also co-founder of the group Traveling Wilburys. Friday and Saturday last week a great music party took place in Stockholm, Sweden. Summerburst! A music festival with focus on electronic music. This time back on the venue Stockholm Stadion where it all started in 2011. A lot of great artists like Alan Walker, Diplo, Vigiland, Galantis, Caroline Roxy, Martin Garrix, Axwell/Ingross (photo), La Fleur and many more.
